After being displaced from an industry in which she had worked for 35 years, Wendy Lasie was offered job retraining and decided to attend the Health Unit Coordinator program at CPTC. She chose this program because the health care industry is not under distress, and it only takes two quarters to complete the program. What Wendy discovered is that age does not determine success; how hard you work does. She also feels that attending college, even though it was just for two quarters, made her a better person.
